The Narmada House

This residential project was designed around the client's vision of creating a contemporary home where every room has its own identity while still feeling connected through one cohesive design language. The goal was to create a space that feels warm, elegant, and highly functional for everyday living.

The highlight of the home is the double-height living area, seamlessly connected with the dining and kitchen. Instead of designing these as separate spaces, we unified them through continuous ceiling details, curved wall panelling, and a consistent material palette. Warm wood finishes, soft beige tones, fluted textures, marble surfaces, and layered lighting bring a sense of harmony while adding depth and character.

The kitchen continues the same language with sage green cabinetry, walnut-finished overhead units, brass hardware, and clean white countertops. Natural light and thoughtful planning make the space both functional and inviting.

Each bedroom was designed to reflect the personality of its user. The parents' bedroom features warm wood, textured upholstery, and subtle traditional details for a timeless feel. The son's first-floor master bedroom takes a more contemporary approach with grey tones, black fixtures, and clean geometric elements. The daughter's bedroom is minimal and calming, with a soft neutral palette and simple furniture. For the guest bedroom, a custom landscape-inspired wallpaper and a grid pattern carried across the headboard, wall panelling, and wardrobe create a distinctive yet cohesive design.

From custom furniture and TV units to carefully detailed panelling and lighting, every element was thoughtfully designed to create a home that is contemporary, functional, and timeless. The result is a residence where every room has its own character while remaining connected through a warm and elegant design language.
